Libraries and National Entrepreneurship Week

EveryLibrary is the 2019 library partnership coordinator for “National Entrepreneurship Week” this February 16 - 23. You are already doing awesome things for entrepreneurs, starters, and small businesses. Can you help share those stories about how your library contributes to local business development and economic prosperity to a national audience?

#NatlEshipWeek is designed to highlight and encourage entrepreneurship in all its forms and across many parts of communities. We know that libraries are economic engines and help power the local economy. But we have to be the ones to share that story. That's why, if you sign your library up here then we can retweet everything you post between Feb 18 - 22 about #NatlEshipWeek and libraries!

Each day of the week has a different theme. When you sign up, we will send you a #NatlEshipWeek in #libraries ‘tip sheet’ of daily tweets and posts. Between your databases (which are business intelligence and market analytics), your trainings (which build the skills people need to succeed), your facilities (which are tech hubs for innovation in the community), and your staff (who are business reference ninjas) there is a lot to share.
Last year, nearly 100 libraries were part of the campaign. Thanks so much for considering this opportunity to highlight a core service for your library to a new national audience. Visit our sign-up page to add your library to the growing list of participating today.

P.S. If you're going to ALA in Seattle, join us at this great fundraiser for mini-golf, games, drinks and more. You will also get to meet some special guests like Nancy Pearl and the Kitchen Sisters as well as watch a live-taping of an NPR broadcast about libraries and librarians!
