[IFLA-IT] m-libraries conference - Early Bird registration 
extended until 18th April


It has just been announced that Early Bird registration for the m-libraries conference
has been extended until Monday 18th April. 


As the use of mobile devices has become increasingly ubiquitous m-libraries this year
has evolved to explore new challenges. The conference will focus on ‘Smart Libraries,
enabling us to discuss the services, technologies and staff skills that will be required for
libraries to evolve and meet the needs of smart societies and smart users.


The 6th international m-libraries conference (hosted by The Open University in conjunction
with Athabasca University) will be of interest to all those involved in researching, planning,
developing and providing innovative services, as well as technical developers and others working
in the smart societies initiatives worldwide.


This exciting, and thought-provoking conference will be held at The Open University in
Milton Keynes from 16th – 18th May 2016.  Details of the speakers and the programme
